Yoshikawa Scholarship Foundation

Purposes of the Yoshikawa Scholarship Foundation

Many foreign students who study in Japan are Asian and most of them study at their own expense.

Do you know that many of them suffer economically due to it being more expensive than in their own countries, causing them to have difficulty paying rent, school fees, and other expenses?

On the other hand, future development of Japan largely relies on mutual understanding and collaboration with other countries. Therefore, it is critical to interact with Asian countries and cooperate for human resource development.

Founded in December 1991, the Yoshikawa Scholarship Foundation has supported students from Asia by granting scholarships to them.

We understand the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 (Dodd-Frank Act) and the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation and verify and select the suppliers of raw materials used in our products.
In addition, we follow the OECD due diligence guidance and the RBA code of conduct, encouraging suppliers to understand our efforts, so that clients can use our products without worry.

We cooperate for responsible procurement of minerals according to the basic policy with the information required for conflict minerals survey by Yoshikawa Kogyo.
